An event like Lights on Creston is a community-wide effort. Volunteers are the heart of our event. They run all aspects from logistics, planning, staffing and more.
If you’re interested in getting involved, check out the opportunities below and fill out the form to sign up.
You can help out by volunteering to work one of the roles below. Each volunteer should plan on devoting about 2 hours of their time.
Shuttle bus volunteers will ride along with visitors and help direct them to the various businesses and attractions around Creston.
Information booth volunteers will be stationed at each shuttle bus stop to direct visitors off the bus and hand out scavenger hunt maps.
Giveaway pickup coordinators will help organize various prizes and ensure they go home safely with the winners.
Bartenders will supplement the volunteers at businesses that host bars for the event. Bartenders must be over the age of 21.
Pre-event setup volunteers will assist business owners by decorating their storefronts prior to the event.
Support runners are volunteers who are tasked with helping out wherever they’re needed with random things that come up during the event.
